Is anyone else familiar with this girl?  From what I've seen so far (found about a day ago) she is a pretty freaking amazing singer and songwriter.  Her songs are really abstract and haunting.  Her new album seems a little too filled with effects but a voice like that shows promise!

I like her voice, what kind of music does she make? Her voice seems like it would be perfect for indie/folk stuff.

It is kind of indie-ish, but not quite. 

I've only heard her most recent release, and it's very interesting.  It's atmospheric and haunting.  However I often find myself wishing it had more of the folk you mentioned, the vocals are often too filled with effects.

Here's a song from it though, a very good song with a nice melody, I think, first an acoustic version and then the studio version.
