Your favourite eighty minutes of Beatles
« on: December 05, 2010, 04:37:31 AM »
I bought the White Album this week - which I've had in a single giant file for some time - meaning I now own all the Beatles I want, and will be working out my perfect Beatles mix in the next little while, so I figured I'd throw the topic out there.

I feel like The Beatles has so many good songs, you can put on whatever songs they have and it will still be a great experience. :P
I'm a bit ashamed to say that i haven't heard The White Album in it's entirety, but i'll eventually check it out, since i love the band.

Challenging to the big Beatles fan to squeeze in 80 minutes onto a CD.

Usually when I make mixes, I keep them at an hour or less.  The Beatles one is 70 minutes.

Taxman
Help!
Fixing a Hole
All You Need is Love
Ticket to Ride
Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds
Blackbird
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Back in the USSR
Day Tripper
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Eleanor Rigby
Come Together
Got to Get You Into My Life
Let it Be
Tomorrow Never Knows
The Abbey Road Medley

Before someone screams "No Rubber Soul wtf," I don't own that one yet.  I have everything from Revolver to Let it Be and 1.

I'll have to try that mix out when I get Rubber Soul.  Looks good to me, though I was never a fan of "Love Me Do."

There is a unacceptable lack of "Something" in your mixes...Except for you SirBradford.

Must Haves:

Something
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
She Said
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
I Am The Walrus
Cry Baby Cry
Helter Skelter

This is way too hard.
