Apple Pie - Crossroads
« on: December 03, 2010, 09:07:04 AM »
Anybody ever heard of that band? Apparently they are disbanded by now, but their debut album "Crossroads" should probably listened to by any Spock's Beard fan. Sometimes their love of SB is probably a bit too close for comfort, but when they do their own thing they're really good.

A friend of mine burned a copy of this album for me.

Been a while since I heard it but it wasn't bad ( I tend to listened to burned CDs I don't have less than ones that I do have). I don't really hear a lot of the Spock's Beard influence that some say is there. I've always thought Spock's had something going there that was hard to duplicate (at least until V)

I think I heard they broke up too, but I never bothered to check confirmation on that.

Yes, this is a good album.  (No offense to prior poster, but Spock's Beard influence is obvious.)
