They were the first band I thought of when you said power metal and dragons, so I browsed their discography at wikipedia until I found the right album.

You are indeed a resourceful man. I wasn't sure if anyone put that much trouble into getting album covers they didn't know

(aside from me. I have no life). You'll probably get many of the others just as easily the same way.

I can't believe I didn't get the Crazy Lixx! I listened to it in the car today! One of the best recent hard rock albums. The first one wasn't too shabby.
Should have got the Stan Bush and the Rhapsody too. This is what happens when you listen to everything on mp3 and not with the cover in front of you.

Round 2 of clues with only 3 to go-

B1 - Features a member of Dream Theater before they were in Dream Theater. The last clue made this easy enough, so how much easier can I make it?

B3 - Early 80s hard rock album, with the band's well known singer. They no longer have that singer, but are still going.

C1 - A recent-ish American metal band with a female vocalist. This is their second album.

And I didn't realize the colours were wrong. How far off are they? I grabbed a decent res version off Google, and there's a lot of variation in what shows up, so I grabbed the one that looked right to me. So sorry if it was wrong, and hopefully it didn't mess anyone up from guessing it!

Actually, I saw it before but figured I was wrong because of the colour.

At least on my screen it shows up almost gray scale instead of having that vibrant blue hue.

It's not some super obscure home pressed demo tape by MP that only Zep has.

Are you kidding me? I love that album! I only chose albums in my collection that I know (and really like them all).
It's a really good early 80s rock album, and a little quirky in its arrangements. The title track is the best straight forward rocker of the album. JR actually sent it to me himself because I hadn't been able to get a copy at the time.

Ok, let's get this finished up-

C1 is an album by a female fronted heavy metal band with a name beginning with "B". This is their second album. The section I took is a smallish part, so you may not see it so quickly. I actually expected this one to be easier, otherwise I would have made it more obvious.
Now Zydar has enough clues to look this one up.

The first album didn't really interest me, and their latest one only has a couple of songs I enjoy, but Seasons of Tragedy I find pretty consistently good from beginning to end, and the production is a lot better than the other two.
