I like the sound this new album has going for it, definitely brings back Vespertine a bit.  (My favorite of her albums)

So I want to buy another Björk album (I have Homogenic)... I thought about Vespertine but apparently is more of a winter album so maybe I'll wait.

You should buy Vespertine, Debut, Post, Volta and Medulla. (in that order)  ;)

After one listen: The new album is good. I'll know how good it really is with more time but for now I love the choir sections, the heavy electronic bits and the simplicity in almost every song. So yeah, very nice! :tup

Anyway, I got Medúlla several weeks ago, and on my first few listens, it was just....odd. It's still odd, but I'm to the point where I'm really enjoying it now. :lol

It's a good album with a really interesting concept, but still a bit uneven for me in terms of quality. Some songs like Oceania and Desired Constellation are amazing but others just fall flat.

Yeah, I can kind of see what you mean. Ancestors, for instance, is just a bit too odd.

Medúlla is pretty cool, but not one of her best imo. If you haven't already checked them out, I highly recommend Vespertine, Homogenic and Debut.
