Still, gives me a reason to gloat and post this again.

The only thing of there's that I haven't been able to find that I really want is the Let The Transmitting Begin EP. It was their first, and has a load of cool live tracks on it. But it's rarer than hen's teeth and I've never seen a real copy.

So the band has finally set up an official Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/sikthofficial in order to sell official merch. There's some interesting snippets on there.

Well some of the members are involved in side-projects right now... we have to remember that the band split up for a reason. But with that said, I really hope the new album will come out soon.

I never heard why the vocalists left though. All I heard was they left and the rest of the band got tired of looking for replacements.

So far I think only Pin and Dan Weller have posted. Mikee's not really a big internet user so I doubt he'll write on the page at all.

There's a new Primal Rock Rebellion video. I like it. It's definitely got more in common with SikTh than Iron Maiden, but it's more or less a completely new direction for both of them.

Listening to the Primal Rock Rebellion album. I'm enjoying it so far. It might just be getting by on the merit of hearing Mikee doing something that isn't SikTh though.

Edit: Upon further listening, I'd say this has potential to be in my top 10 of the year, and it's definitely the best thing that's been released so far this year.

What’s the plan for SikTh beyond that?

“Nothing yet. Nothing at all. We wanted to come back and do a really great gig and see how it goes. We’ve got new bands, we have obligations to our careers, but equally, we do want to make new SikTh music in the future at some point. This is a one-off gig for now, and then we’ll see how it goes…”

I remember first discovering SikTh, it was like getting hit in the head with a breeze block of riffage. How May I Help You is my favourite on that album. And Skies of Millenium Night. And Pussyfoot. And everything else is my favourite. I loves all of it really.
