And I've been wondering why it was taking so long. Good to know, I'll give it a listen when it comes out.  :tup

Interesting title. I'm surprised they didn't just go with "3"... or maybe I'm NOT surprised. Either way, I can't wait for it. One of my (seemingly dozen) most anticipated releases of 2011!

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I'll add it to the "to buy" list, but I would much rather have had a new Platypus record...

Either is fine, but on my "to buy" list too.

@TAC - Ty's voice is very thin, so I can see why you might not like it.

I'm a huge King's X fan, but even I don't really care for Ty's voice.

Yea.  He's great for harmonies but average as a lead singer.  Get all 3 guys singing in King's X together and it's magic.

I just hope JMX's backing vocals don't get lost in the mix this time.

I like Ty's voice when he sings the heavier stuff.  His first couple of solo albums, he wasn't as confident about his voice.  Who would, with Dug standing next to you at every gig?  But I loved the rockin' stuff on Rock Garden and Something's Coming.

Anyone else notice Molken Music's new Jelly Jam-related release?

Not an overwhelming announcement IMO, but it's something I guess...

Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?
