Guys, I'm looking to get a couple Christmas albums. What are some of the best?

No voting Transiberian.  I already got all that.

Try "A Charlie Brown Christmas" by jazz composer Vince Guaraldi. It definitely goes well with the cold weather we've been randomly having lately. It's supposed to be summer really soon too lol.

Good call on Charlie Brown.  Also check out Mannheim Steamroller.

Here is a sample...

And for shits and giggles, one of my all time favorites, Father Christmas, by The Kinks...

What about Halford - Winter Songs

Couldn't stand the album myself but if you are into the Christmas thing, you might enjoy it

What sort of music are we talking here?

For choral music, I highly recommend either The Kings' Singers - Christmas (https://www.amazon.com/Kings-Singers-Christmas-Traditional/dp/B0000E3315) or more traditional, The Sixteen - A Traditional Christmas Carol Collection (https://www.amazon.com/Traditional-Christmas-Carol-Collection/dp/B000J3EBMG/ref=sr_1_6?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1290951637&sr=1-6)

Thanks for all the recs guys. I download 99 Christmas songs on Amazon for 1.99. It included a lot of classical stuff, but some famous ones too. And I'm definitely getting peanuts and Halford.

This is the compilation I have listened since I was eight and I still love it. The collection is fantastic. I lost the case of the CD which had all the names of the artists. I only name the ones I remember.

1. Traditional - Silent Night
2. Perry Como - Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer
3.  - O Come All Ye Faithfull
4. Boney M. - Little Drummer Boy
5. Roger Whittaker - Hallelujah It's Christmas
6. Perry Como - We Wish You a Merry Christmas
7. Dolly Parton - Winter Wonderland/Sleigh Ride
8. Bing Crosby - Joy To The World
9. Perry Como - Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
10.  - Jingle Bells
11. Dolly Parton - White Christmas
12. - The First Noel

You can listen to it here: https://listen.grooveshark.com/#/playlist/Emindead+s+Christmas+Playlist/40125877

Theocracy's Christmas songs are all pretty cool, but I like their version of "Angels From The Realms of Glory" the best:

Trans-Siberian Orchestra. :2metal:
Funny story. I asked a coworker what he was doing on his days off, and, in a pissed off way, he said,"I'm going to some stupid orchestra christmas concert with my parents."  I knew that they were playing in Oakland that day and asked him if that was the show, and he said yes.(he's a rock fan, BTW) I just told him,"prepare to be suprised."  He came back from his day off and was all ,"HOLY FUCK DUDE, THAT SHIT WAS DOPE", I just laughed. :lol

That's great!
The first time I saw TSO was in 04 when they were playing smaller venues and they were a bit of a secret to many. We braved a horrendous early Winter storm that was dumping 12+ inches of snow on Connecticut. We kept thinking they would postpone the show. It was awful outside as the snow was piling up quickly. The announcement on the radio in the early afternoon confirmed the show would go on.
We geared up for it and took the half hour drive which became an hour plus to the show. To my sunrise the venue was packed. No one stayed home due to the storm. It put a smile on my face. Between the snow and the feeling in the room, it was pure magic from the moment I walked into the Oakdale theater that day. Talk about Christmas spirit. You could feel something special in the air. I was high before my first sip of beer.
Then the show started.  It was a jaw dropping experience. I practically melting into my chair from the opening notes, and a couple beers made things even more festive. I have seen TSO, 3 times since that day in bigger venues since that day, but nothing ever quite captured the magic of stormy December afternoon.
Ahhh memories.

Now here's an adaptation that I think most of you will like. It's the Ukrainian carol called 'Shchedryk' or mostly known here as 'Carol of the Bells' arranged by Michael Aranda. It's really just fantastic that is really what I think, oh by the way here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o82WvI_xy8E
