Well, it has sold very many copies, it's relatively highly reviewed, and I would say the majority of DTF that has heard the album likes it. At what point do you stop and consider, "maybe it's just me"?

Well, I guess I should say that while I only have one Coheed album (IV) I don't really like it. And I didn't enjoy them when I saw them live, even though I really really wanted to.

But I'm always willing to give artists another chance. If not, they wouldn't have even made the list.

I think 2007 remains unbeatable. 2009 was amazing too. This one is very good but I see it as a sort of "calm before the storm" year personally.

This year was good, but not as good as last year. This year had a lot of new releases from bands I'm interested in, but nothing I really needed to get as soon as it came out.

Overall i don't think 2009 comes close to this year, but 2011 might be really awesome, considering we'll most likely have new albums from: Thrice, Radiohead, Eisley, Ulver, dredg, Blackfield, the SW & MÅ collaboration, new SW-solo album, and apart from those there's always bands you discover, and albums you had forgot about. ;)
