That's awesome and ill definitely check it out if they come my way. The only G3 I saw was satch, Gilbert, petrucci

I saw that, plus Satch/Vai/Petrucci, and Satch/Vai/Malmsteen.  EJ is an interesting one to pair with them.  Granted, he was part of the original lineup, but a lot of people used to comment how out of place he seemed.  He adds variety, but is a bit subtle for the jam stuff they always do at the end.

i saw Vai/Satriani/Fripp, at least Johnson isn't on a barstool in the back of the stage playing soundscapes ;)

You're severley downplaying and underestimating EJ here.

That's cool!

I think the big draw for me here is Vai, I saw him on his Inviolate tour and while I'm not the biggest Vai fan he blew me away live. I've always wanted to see EJ as well. Satch I've seen enough.

HAHA.  Having seen Fripp several times, I can easily picture that.  :)
