Can't argue with either of those top two choices.

Dan Swano is really amazing.

Moontower is freaking awesome. The synths mixed with the brutal vocals and guitars make the album extremely original.  It does sound like if Rush played death metal in the 70s.

Oh, man, the first time I heard Crimson..... 

But Moontower just stands above everything else, in my opinion. That's saying a lot when you take into account all of the amazing work he's been involved with. Glad you like my list!

Also, in the PoS pic I assume the one in the back with the red-ish hair is Kristoffer Gildenlow? If so, he looks exactly like his brother.

Yeah, I think that's him. I just grabbed this pic off google in a haste, so I don't know for sure. But that would be my guess.

And I'm bumping this list for anyone who followed it but didn't see final few :3

I LOVE Dan Swano!!!  Crimson and Crimson 2 are easily two of the best metal releases ever.  Loved Nightingales last album too.
