Dream Theater Trivia Game
« on: November 07, 2010, 09:00:56 PM »
Inspired by the MS Paint Lyric thread.

The rules:  When it's your turn, you ask one question.  It can be anything regarding any member/past-member of DT.  If someone gets it, you acknowledge their win and grant them a point, and they must come up with a new question.  If no one gets it within 10 guesses, the asker gets another point, and must come up with a new question (the extra point may only be awarded once per person).

The only rule for answering is that you can't use any resources--it all has to be from your memory.  Obviously there's a lot of integrity here, but whatevs, it's just a forum game.

Question 1
What is James LaBrie's middle name?
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. G. Sertillanges

Oh wow, I'd have never been able to remember any of those names.  But since I didn't get the names right, you can go ahead and take my point away if you want.  Cuz that was part of the question.

What was the name of the first band John Petrucci was in?

Uh.  That's really hard, because I could easily be wrong.  But I'll just say Majesty?

The Mirror (if you count the instrumental Puppies on Acid that they played during the IaW tour)

Could be Eve, since it's kindof an Awake song (was on the Japanese version of Awake)
