Do we know who owns Ytse Jams, Inc.?

Or is this precisely one of the pieces of info we are trying to figure out?

except you apparently forgot the  "You will never be able to read me. I will deny any drummer." part  ;)

You know what?  I didn't forget it.  I didn't even see it.  That's even worse.  LOL

I think that if you are "in the know" or close to the DT members in any way, you probably wouldnt go against their wishes and spout off in a forum of their loyal fans.  If you are one of my "friends" and you spill info I dont want you to, that is douchy.

Maybe these are friends of friends, but either way, keep your mouth shut unless you are willing to back it up.

It's gotta get resolved before the first "Dream Theater" show anyway right?

So I had a dream last night that someone tweeted "Drummer announcement tomorrow." and it was on a Sunday, which could be today, or seven weeks from today.

All I'll add on the subject is just to point out that a lot of what gets people into trouble isn't what they say, but how they say it.

And as far as him having inside info, he may very well be close to the band in some sense and be privy to information.  But he definitely wasn't who he said he was, that I can tell you.

Who exactly did he say he was? And how did it turn out he wasn't who he said he was? Curious.

LOL at your avatar!

I still want Lang, and kind of believe its him.

A while back I suggested how cool it would be if they released there first video from the new album with no drummer only the drum set. Kind of like the way Avenged did with nightmare. Then introduce the drummer when they feel its right in an elaborate way.

What did Lang just post about making a DVD(video?) with him as the drummer only hes not in it. He comments how it "sounds mysterious doesent it?" I like where he could be going with this. He says "we will find out soon enough." See there is a God, Rock on Thomas. I think he is in NY with his wife. No reason why she couldnt be with him. :metal

Of course this is pure speculation on my part used soley to get the wheels turning of others here.

Has there been any update at all lately? Seems there's total radio silence at this point.
I have to be honest, I envisioned the switch to be a bit more "spritely".

Just came across this one sided nonsense:

I don't see how it's any more one-sided than half the posts here regarding those matters.

https://blog.pennlive.com/new-music/2011/02/mike_portnoy_is_still_the_man.html

"To put it briefly, Portnoy wanted Dream Theater to take a short break in order to have downtime away from each other, as well as have the ability to come back and refresh their stale sound."

"I'm glad he's not in Dream Theater anymore, looking back on the whole thing. The man is infinitely creative..."

I don't recall Portnoy ever calling their recent work stale, did he imply that somewhere?  Anyways, it's quite a feat for an infinitely creative man to need a break to refresh creativity.

True, and I never said it was "any more" one sided. But it is definitely one sided. Although, someone posted a comment in defense to the one sided blogger.

Portnoy never said the music was stale, actually he said basically the opposite. It was never about creativity or the music, but their personal relationship was "strained".

If Portnoy "is infinitely creative" and he was in DT when their music had gradually lost him, then why doesn't he shoulder any of that blame? Also the second sentence makes no sense. He says it was all downhill after SC, but then compliments BCSL which has been their only release since.

he never said the music was getting stale. he said the relationships were.
