In JR's latest Youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25MWLfpQy98), he says that he's going to be back at the studio with DT for one *last* week. That means that they've almost finished writing the songs - I doubt they'd finish recording already.

Is it me or is does Jordan wear a Rush t-shirt?

He's talking about last week  ;)

He's talking about the next week being the last week. At least that's what I understand of it.
He says they had a busy week last week and that they'll be back in the sutdio this week.

He didn't say this week will be the last week.  What he said was he's getting ready to go back into the studio and that he had a very busy week last week.  That is all.  :)

This.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Bassoon polka intermission would be a great if added in a song for the new album!!!

No, it wouldn't.

"Everybody, I'm sitting here at home, I'm actually(?) getting ready to go back to the studio. I had a very busy week last week in the studio with Dream Theater"

That's what I understand (not a native English speaker), so I'm with pipo, Johny and the others (awesome band name). He's just talking about last week.

At present time, it is getting somewhere over, but close to, 1000 views per day.  So, I hope we DONT hit 200,000; that would mean no new drummer announcement by until mid-May or later!

I drove back home, threw my hat deep into the closet and fell asleep on my bed without knowing that Cove City Sound Studios is located at North Shore of Long Island which might make it the place that Mike Mangini meant when he said the following:

"Heading to up the North Shore this week for rec session #2 of 2011. I will update my sites w/info asap. My Books site will be down for a while."
Wait, when/where did he say this?

Well, one thing's pretty clear.

If this is really the 'last week' in the Studio like Jordan says, the guys REALLY haven't managed to keep up with updating us the way Mike would have.  ::)

This. DT are going to stay in the studio until March/April at least. The writing process may be done quickly, but recording has always taken them several weeks.

This is NOT the last week... as was said many times JR said he "had a busy last week" meaning last week, as in the week before this one... was busy.

At no point does he say "we are GOING to have a busy last week next week..."
