Getting tired of this. How many times haven't they said "we will announce the drummer soon enough"...I don't think anyone thought about waiting 3 months the first time JLB said that. After a while, I became very stoked about getting the news. But now, as many of you I don't really care. (YES I DO, THAT'S WHY I CHECK THIS FORUM 5 TIMES A DAY) Anyways, if they come up with some unknown drummer wich I absolutely don't like im gonna get crazy. Though i know DT know what they're doing. They haven't said anything new lately either, so I wouldn't be shocked if we had to wait a couple of months more.

The Namm show was wild and crazy to say the least! I was very proud to introduce the Korg Kronos! Now I am back in NY and came directly to the studio with Dream Theater. The riffs are flying!! And never a dull moment.. On Sunday the 23rd I will be playing live in Tarrytown NY. I will be joined by James Labrie, Eren Basbug and the RnL project. Come to the show! www.tarrytownmusichall.org

I've had this experience too. I just came back from my trip home to the US. So many people trying to sell me cheap shit made in China-- I'd completely forgotten! I couldn't even buy a videogame without the salesman asking if I wanted insurance on it.

Then I went to buy a movie, and the dude at the counter insisted I　pre-order something. When I said 'no' he went on to mention that I could pre-order movies that aren't even out in theaters yet. It was awesome.

Those videos of Lang are why I want him in DT over Mangini. Although he's showing his skills it still sounds like he's playing "the song". In Mangini's vids the song is a distant relative to what he's playing.

So either 1) he's not the drummer, or 2) he's not allowed to be a part of the writing process, and will only come in the studio to lay drum tracks at the very end.
