Dave Weckl would probably not happen, mostly because I'm pretty sure the members of DT have zero aspiration to make that kind of music (jazz, fusion, samba, bosa-nova, etc.) and because what Weckl plays in 10 minutes is harder than the entire DT discography combined.

Thomas Lang is no doubt very talented, but every video I've seen of him, he completely over uses the double bass. I really hope they don't go in that direction.

It's pretty obvious that if you reached Weckls level of skill, then metal is super easy.

Funny I was thinking that a big problem with MP's drumming on BCSL was his over use of blast beats.

Anyway, I'm still hoping for Lang.

That's because most of the videos of him on youtube are from an instructional dvd about using your feet.
