You know that if you don't add anyone as a friend you won't get any Farmville and Mafia War invites?

'Course, the sensible middle ground is to only add friends who won't do that. Or, just don't look at your invites. I've got loads, and they're just collecting dust in a lost panel of facebook. They don't really make a difference. I don't even get notified. Not a dealbreaker.

Facebook also lets you ignore invites from games like that if you choose to, so its not like they force it all on you. Its all in the friends you pick.

You can have friends that do that stuff and just block it... i have friends that obsessive play games and I just click to Hide all from that app. So I still see my friends updates, photos, etc, but not the games.

Haven't had a game invite on facebook in over 2 years. Probably more. I know it's "cool" to be "above" facebook. But it is a great promotional medium and I'm glad DT is using it

I rarely complain here. I've been very patient. But I have to say...making this announcement exclusively to facebook subscribers is incredibly lame. Not everyone has or wants a facebook account. Just give us all the info already. It's like having to be part of the exclusive paying Queensryche fan club or something...ok maybe not that bad...but still...Oh and making it at 11am in the morning when most people are working...now I really don't care. I'll get the info here eventually.

For the billionth millionth time. It's going to be announced on facebook. You can guarantee it'll be available elsewhere about half a second after it's initially posted.

DT does have fans outside the US. Rather a lot in fact. I guess they had to make it a time convenient for the highest number of people possible. And it was probably Roadrunner's decision anyway.

I got a hunch: I think the new drummer is Virgil Donati.

There's nothing new in the Planet X website from a long time now. Derek is working on his new solo album with Simon Phillips. No news from CAB or Seven the Hardway. Nothing on his website or wikipedia. Maybe... Who knows?
