Remember when we were all hoping for a Thanksgiving announcement....then a Christmas morning announcement.....then a New Year's announcement.........???

At least the new cd is getting finished up!

Dont rule out palm Sunday announcement or Easter announcement out yet.

Hum.. i don't think DT members or RR on that matter knows what palm sunday is.. maybe petrucci.

Easter could be.

You seriously believe that no Christians work at Roadrunner?

Not at all, just saying in the USA palm sunday is not a well known day if you are not an every sunday "catholic church" guy. Catholic church is not the most popular christian denomination in usa.

So, I think I read on this thread...somewhere...lol.  That Lang was out?  That would make sense seeing Portnoy's meeting him in Belgium in the next day or too for a drum festival.

Not really true.  I have worshiped in Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, and Pentecostal churches, and each of them observed Palm Sunday.

I think catholicism is the most common denomination in the US.
The others when combined under the umbrella of Protestants are more numerous, but not separately.
I really could care less though. I was raised catholic and have no idea when palm Sunday would be.

Wait a minute. Are we discussing the potential new drummer or religion in here? If so, doesn't it belong to the Political and Religious sub-forum?

I thought Catholics educated their own a little better than that.  Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter.

Jordan uploaded a picture with Wetton & Marco Minnemann at a UK concert. It's just strange to see Minnemann & Ruddess together, without knowing who the drummer of DT is!

idk. maybe im wrong, but to me that further solidifies that it's not minnemann. dt have definitely been going out of their way to keep this drummer thing hush hush, so for jordan publicly playing with him says to me it's not the guy.

jr definitely realizes the speculation that would occur from playing with him.

well, still, even that could generate some speculation. that and the fact that they played together a little while ago.

idk, i just dont think its him.

Mangini has got so tired of people posting on his facebook about Dream Theater that he's disabled being able to leave comments on his status' and posting on his wall.  About an hour ago we were in a discussion about Pat Travers, next thing you know people are posting saying Congrats and well done on the DT gig and stuff, he asked "Congrats for what? Stop posting off topic". But people kept saying well done so he's disabled it. Sheesh.
