Hell, I should have my guitarist talk to you.  He finds a way to make any song capo-worthy on an acoustic.  Drives me fucking nuts.  Off the top of my head (for songs that SHOULD be played with a capo) Hotel California comes to mind (capo 7th fret).

Lindsey Buckingham - Go Insane (Live) one of the most emotional pieces i've heard with just acoustic and vocals.
I don't know how they can be so proud of winning with them odds. - Little Big Man

Buckley's Hallelujah is capo 5th fret.  Capo's are for dirty cheats though :neverusethis:

On the subject of Capos...

It's a novelty toy that you could probably only use once or twice in a song situation though, but it does look cool to play with.

I always used a 2nd fret capo to properly play the intro to "Run to You" by Bryan Adams.

I use them for cheesy pop songs with generic progressions to make them sound fuller.

If I can I avoid using a capo, especially if I'm playing electric.

as a lead guitarist that plays one off gigs here and there with singer/songwriter types (who play the same songs in different keys to accommodate how their voice feels on that particular gig) i try to avoid them pretty much always.  i get thrown off when it comes time for leads and i'm playing chords like i'm in A but it's actually in C or whatever and i start soloing in the wrong key. i'm more comfortable just using barre chords, i may miss out on signature licks that require open strings, but at least there's no confusion for me as to what key i'm in.  anyhow, i think aqualung uses a capo also.

This song does use a capo, it's virtually impossible to play the riff without one.

Also, many songs from Fates Warning's Parallels uses a capo.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

Absolutely.  Way to do it without is to fret notes you shouldn't which doesn't let the notes ring out as they should.  Used to do this song in an old band and that riff is damn near hypnotizing to play.
