I think people bump the thread hoping to remind him to keep writing.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

And herein lies the problem of starting a thread like this and not having the time to continue/finish it, especially when the only person who can continue it is Indiscipline. It's not like a survivor, where, if the OP can't continue, he/she can let someone else take over.

"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. G. Sertillanges

It really shouldn't take this long to cover "Under a Glass Moon". IT'S SEVEN MINUTES LONG! We're not covering Octavarium here.

Sorry for the bump, but do you think he planned this? Purposely got our hopes up about something potentially epic and leave us to the wolves?

This might reinforce the idea that he's Portnoy.

Clearly he doesn't have the time and dedication to this fine Forum to continue this. It should be locked and placed in the archive as an Unfinished Masterpiece.

I would assume that a thread like this might be a work in progress as it goes along, but I would also assume that a thread like this wouldn't be started without at least the first 3 or 4 albums' material already written.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Maybe we could invite other talented wordsmiths to pick up the slack? Or would that be too disrespectful?

Nah, I don't think anyone else can't write "focking" and make it sound right (not like he can either).

It's gotten to the point where even bacon cannot remedy the dissapointment I feel when I realise it was only a bump

Is Treebeard the new drummer?

Only if all the songs are in 120 bpm or slower (and the "m" in bpm stands for "millenium").

Great.  Dr. Doom will kick ass as the new drummer.  Though, the other guys will feel like it's another drummer taking over everything again. ;)
