Just finished playing the demo. Very good. The controls for walking around are very hard to get used to, but it does make for a more realistic character walk.

I just discovered Uncharted. Yes, I know, I'm extremely late to the party. I'm that way with a lot of things, mostly music and gaming. Anyway, this is like the perfect game for me. It has all the elements I like about video games. I shall be picking up 1 & 2 tomorrow.... If I'm not broke.

I dunno, I remember playing the Elder Scrolls on Xbox years ago and really enjoying it. But this just an awkward game, clunky controls, not a very user-friendly interface.

Hey guys, if I use a hdmi cable to my shiny new monitor for my ps3, how do I get sound? The monitor has no speakers and I want to use my 5.1s if possible.

You can go into your sound settings and have it output sound from your RCA cables (Red and White plugs) or the optical output. If you want true 5.1, you'll need to use the optical output.

If you are hooking up the RCA (Stereo) to a 5.1 receiver, you may hear noise from all the speakers, but it won't be real 5.1.

We just got our PS3 in the mail, yesterday. The first thing we actually did with it was watch Secondhand Lions on blu-ray. Does that make us weird?

Haven't played any games, yet, but we were really impressed by the dvd playback we tried. Is it worth testing all of the various video settings for upscaling, or are those mostly worthless unless you have problems to begin with?
