I don't know if I've created this thread before but, if you don't know this band, stop trying to build underground cred on last.fm and move on with your life. The middle class ain't buyin'.
This band is totally kick though and the guys are really chill. Mathy, proggy, a little post and definitely alt. indie. It's not drowned out by math though, more towards Omar A. Rodriguez and Mars Volta. You could file them up with Circa Survive, Coheed, yeah The Mars Volta and I wouldn't need to tell you the Debut that dropped last year was almost purely influenced by the Dear Hunter. And for the record, Tilian Pearson, the singer, is as obsessed with Björk as the next DTFer. It bleeds through like ice cream... delicious.
