Has it been mentioned that the vocal melody at the beginning of Cockroach King sounds just like Chocolate Rain ?

Yep that was actually the first thing that came to my mind when listening to CRK for the first time. I was to ashamed to mention it to anyone.  :lol

The Mountain is becoming much more amazing with every listen.  I would say at this point that CK is probably my least favorite and Pareidolia sounds a lot better than the first time I heard it.

I just listened to chocolate rain (sounds like he sings chocolate ring to me), kinda wish I hadn't because its all I'm going to think of when I listen to CK now!

I'm a massive fan of this album, really hard to decide if it is this or "The Raven that refused to sing" for my album of the year thus far

The worst part about this is since I saw that video and connected it to CK, I have been going around randomly singing "CHOCOLATE RAINNNNNNNNNNNN" just about...constantly. Dammit.  :rollin

Because they're amazing. They have these godlike vocal harmonies among other things. Check out Blomljud, it's a double CD but it's worth it!

Not really, other than the use of rich vocal harmonies.

Don't get me wrong, Moon Safari are amazing, but I don't think they really sound anything like Because It's There.

The statement is based on how, whenever I listen to "Because it's there", I feel reminded of "Sun of your own" (and vice versa).

Bottom line: more people should check out Moon Safari :tup
