Why? Because some of the artists are dead?  That doesn't mean I don't think an awesome group could be formed if they were alive.

I expect this group to go over most kiddies heads, but I think this group could really work:

Drums: MP
Bass: Sean Malone
Guitar/head songwriter: Nick Van Dyk
Keyboards: NVD again
Vocals/secondary song writer: Zac Stevens

It would be heavy, have a capable singer, a great and a good song writer.

Also, we'll never see it happen, but a MP / Devin Townsend collaboration would be awesome.

I don't know if MP would be the right guy, but I definitely think it would be interesting to hear Devin play in a band in which he didn't have complete control.
