Which act has had a bigger impact on music?
« on: October 04, 2010, 12:58:35 PM »
Both have obviously had a profound impact on the music industry. Which of the two has made a bigger impact on your life?

Tough choice.  Had to go w/ JB
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. G. Sertillanges

Oh god, what if Justin Bieber had a brother, and they were a group?

Tough call. I'd have to say The Biebs only because the discovery of his music slowed down 800% revealed an amazing atmospheric trip over a half-hour long that's just out of this world.

I had to go to great lengths to keep myself from inserting Kevin Moore as a third option in this poll.

I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

Are you people on drugs?? Neither of those "artists" have done ANYTHING good for music! If anything, they're KILLING music! I can't believe talented artists like Dream Theater and Pain of Salvation go completely unnoticed, while hacks like Beiber and the Jonas Brothers get tons of fame for doing absolutely nothing! They're a sad, sad state of how music has been scraping the bottom of the barrel for the last decade or so. If only you all knew what terrible garbage they both were.

But srs Beiber man
