Porcupine Tree Royal Albert Hall meetup thread
« on: October 04, 2010, 03:28:46 AM »
So firstly, who is going and secondly where are we meeting up?

My only problem with meeting up is that I'm standing, so want to get there rediculously early to get a good place. Anyone who wants to wait with me is welcome though.

Hmm I would but I'm probably going with my mum (lol, I know.) so it's unlikely I'll be able to.  :sadpanda:

I'm attending the gig. I'm going on my own so I wouldn't mind meeting up. I'm travelling to the Hall via Train/London Underground and I plan to stop off at Kensington Station which is about 10mins away from the Hall.

I'll be there.  I get to Heathrow at 3pm so I guess I'll be around the Albert Hall at around 4pm.  I'd quite like to see Lasse Hoile's exhibition in the Elgar Room beforehand and maybe get some food and pints

I'm not sure if I'm going to the show or not, but I'll definitely join any meetup, I only live a mile away.

Haha so am I. I was like, hey mum, can I go to PT @ RAH for my birthday present and she was like, yes...but only if I can come too!  :lol

I am actually going to be flyering outside before the gig so I expect each and every one of you to take a flyer off me! Otherwise I'd come and meet up with you guys.

You can give me the flyer in my place at the front of the standing queue :loser:

But on a more useful note - where is the standing queue, as nothing will be open when I get there.

I have a standing ticket and to be honest, I have no idea.  When I get there I'm just gonna have a look around.

Wish I could come but can't really, going with a friend who isn't into the band and probably wouldn't appreciate being dragged to meet another bunch of enthusiasts :P can't wait though, this time tomorrow we'll all be kinda going into the hall and waiting!

You know there's a Lasse Hoile exhibition at the RAH tomorrow?

Also, re. the flyering, if you're from DTF and I give you a flyer say hello!  (I imagine I'll be the only O2 flyerer wearing an Opeth tee!)

Tomorrow I shall be meeting with a couple of old dt.net members.  PM your number, the more the merrier. As I mentioned before I'll be around the RAH from 4pm.  It would be good to meet some of the dtf members who weren't around before dt.net went down.

huh, so it is all seated. I'm kinda bummed, I have no idea how good my seat is - my ticket is currently with my friend at uni somewhere up north.

I'm a bit confused 3Minute, I joined here around 2007, does that make me eligible for the meetup? I'll pm you my number anyway.

Why are you flyering?

Wish I could get a passport, plane ticket, and show ticket all in time but alas, none for me. :(

Too bad, it'd be worth it to meet 3mw. :)

Everyone's welcome!  It's only gonna be me and one or two others.  I've PM'd you back.  My name is Rory by the way, just to avoid referring to each other by board names when in person. :P

Wish you could be there today, I've missed talking to you.  One day we'll meet...eventually.  I'm hoping to study for a PhD in the states after I finish my masters here, it'll be easier then  ;D

Anyway I'd best get going, I have a flight to catch soon  :metal

If anyone sees me I'll be the tall girl with dark hair wearing a black dress, boots and a black fake leather jacket, with a guy wearing a suit! Say hey!
