Oh, by the way, I started repairing your original base last night but then after about 5 or 10 minutes I noticed that the person had caused way too much damage to it and I kind of just gave up :/

I built my house (pyramid) next to matt's epic tower. I then thought it might be time to start mining and I stumbled on a treasure chamber thingie within 2 minutes. It contained a lot of iron, sulfur and bread and some random stuff (including a saddle).

I've been following a Minecraft series in Youtube by Yogscast (they mainly do WoW related stuff.) and it's really making me want to buy Minecraft, is it still cheap?

They jacked up the price to $20 now I do believe. Not to mention the fact that major updates aren't free if you purchase it now.

I'm sure everything up to (and including) the final release is free. You might need to buy expansions though, if he ever decides to do that.

I was under the impression if you bought the game AFTER Beta you had to pay for every major update leading up to the final release, and if you bought it BEFORE Beta, you get everything until the final release free.

If you bought in alpha, you get everything, including any expansions that come after the final release.
If you bought in beta, you get everything except any post-release expansions. You won't have to pay for any updates in beta however.
