I got mine just fine. And now I have every Eevolution except for Flareon and Volteon since I need to get more evolution stones.

ZBOMBER used revive!

OK, so is there any difference between EV training and just using vitamins to get your EVs the way you want them? Are there any disadvantages towards the latter other than being pricey?

Other than the fact that vitamins stop having effect after 100 EVs in one stat, not at all. Good timesaver.

Genius Wing etc. will work all the way up to 255, but they're even trickier to get hold of.

Yep.

So, update on my pokemonings, I broke down and bought White a month ago.  Right now I'm just training my team to take down the E4 a second time.

Right now:
Serperior 64
Slowbro 62
Scrafty 63
Mismagius 65
Volcarona 70
Dragonite 68

The team that beat the story mode of the game was Serperior, Scrafty, Crustle (fucking AWESOME), Golurk, Haxorus, and Panpour (yuck).  I also just caught Kyurem!  Now I just need to catch the three genies and I'll be all set for BW legendaries.

You're gonna have to give me even more hours.  When I get home around 3:30/4:00 then we will begin.

Which time zone are we talking, here?

EDIT: It's 3:30 right now, here, so definitely a couple behind.

EDIT2: Ah! Says in your profile! Five or six hours. Works for me.

I'm using a USB connector, but it didn't do this when I traded with Joe earlier.  Did you get anything?

I'm using my computer as a broadcasting point... which, generally, has been pretty top notch so far, so I hope it's not my side.

I've got you down in the corner as a potential participant, but that's about all I'm getting.

Ooh! Hold up. You were just sitting in the room for a sec.

I've "yessed" just to maintain the connection. If we can't get a six-on-six I am going to kick off and write angry letters to Nintendo, Game Freak, and Pikachu.

(Part of me wants to suggest er... whatever NetBattle's called nowadays, but I don't enjoy using Pokemon I haven't raised all that much. Still, a six-on-six is a six-on-six.)

EDIT: Hahahahaha, ohhhh this was inevitable. Ninety more years of "Communicating with Skydive..." - go!

EDIT2: Sixteen minutes later, this is ridiculous.

(continues trying...)

Yeah this is getting silly.  I guess I could always try and update action replay for a bajilion rare candies so we can play 6-on-6 with level 100s.  Or writing angry letters to Nintendo works too.

Actually, I'm starting to get hungry, so I'm gonna disconnect now, because I just starting thinking about making a hail team.  Its something I haven't done before, and the anticipation of crushing my opponents between Obamasnow's icy heel whets my appetite.

Absolutely fair. And good session! Three wins each isn't bad. P'raps try the emulator next time? It's not nearly as fun as using the DS - definitely "missing" something - but I love the idea of having a lovely accessible league going.

P.S. I hate your Volcarona.

Yeah, Pokemon Online would be a good way to try as well.  Maybe tomorrow if you're free around 4pm EST (Europeans Suckat Timezones)

This. I need to go and play White again, but at the moment, I'm waiting for a copy of SoulSilver I ordered to turn up, as I wanted to play the 2nd gen remakes again, but didn't want to restart HeartGold.
This is as exciting as superluminal neutrinos. The sexy thing is that this actually exists :D

OK GUYS

I wanna lower my Simsage's special attack and put that towards his attack. He is level 86 right now, and all my EVs are maxed. So, if I use hondew berries, give him a lot of protein and then battle pokemon that give off attack EVs, can I get his attack stats pretty high?

Yes. But you'll probably need quite a lot of Hondew.

I think it's like 11 berries to completely zero a stat?

I've got some growing in dream world now so I should be all set

Do I need to space it out when I give him the protein/berries, or can I just do it all at once? Never done any kind of EV training before in any of the pokemon games, so this is still kinda new to me.
