mass confusion EVERYWHERE

Anyways, I beat the main game of White but I'm too lazy to start the extra stuff. Everyone's teams are in the 60s, and all of my pokemon are level 55. I kind of want to level up to 60 before I start exploring the new areas, but it's so boringggg

THIS

I just beat the main game on Black and I just don't feel like going through the whole world again to tie up loose ends and whatever. I'm bored, lol. Maybe I'll get a I MUST PLAY POKEMON phase in a little while and finish it, but....  :mehlin

I've been doing this for over 45 minutes.

EVERY ONE HAS CHARIZARD, BLASTOISE, MEW, MEWTWO, AND ARCANINE.

I'm at the Elite Four now on white. This is my team:

Boldore lvl 45
Serperior lvl 50
Galavantula lvl 50
Musharna lvl 47
Darmanitan lvl 47
Caracosta lvl 47

Based on this team, I reckon I'm gonna struggle, but thats part of the fun of going with a somewhat unorthodox team (rather than saying oh hi there Haxorus, Thundurus, Chandelure, Archeops etc etc). I'm gonna get rid of Boldore once I'm done with the story and get a Braivary, the spec defense problem with Boldore/Gigalith is getting a bit too much.

My question is, what levels should I be aiming for before the league? I'm thinking 50, but should it be higher? If its higher I might ditch Boldore now and start on my Rufflet.
I punch those numbers into my calculator and they make a happy face.

This, but add Dragonite, Zapdos, and Suicune.  Hydreigon has popped up the most out of all the Gen V pokemon.

For the Elite four, I went in with all of my Pokemon level 52-53. By the time I got out, most were 54-55. It's tough, I had to use about 3 revives in the final battke, but if you play against their weaknesses you should be fine.

But yeah, I'd atleast get all of your pokemon up to level 50 before going in. 55 would be ideal if you want to make it easier on yourself.

I managed with mine all in the late 40's, and didn't find it hard at all. I think it's just using the right types and having the right moves.

Thanks for the tips! Its so much easier to grind in this Gen compared to what I remember in previous ones. In 25 minutes today I got my Serperior and Galavantula from 46 to 50. Im gonna go for the 54-55 level I think, meaning bye Boldore lol. Its attack is ridiculous, but it takes two special attacks from basically anything thats not NVE and its toast. Braivary looks the shit though.

I'm gonna start a new game of Heart Gold to play in my spare time between work this semester.  I'll really finish black during the summer when I have a bit more free time.  Gonna start with Typhlosion.  Might be tempted to trade some low-leveled stuff from platinum though, like Omastar, Tyrogue, and a dusk stone to get a Mismagius (one of the coolest looking pokemans ever).

I need to get rolling on my SoulSilver game again. I'm in the ice cave right now, trying to pick a good Pokemon to take to the dragon gym. I've got a Jynx, Delibird, and Swinub. Which one should I build up?
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?
LOOK AT THIS AWESOME SHIT AHHHHHH

I hate it when they make the pokemans with epic stats the most retarded looking. This gen has seen some of the most retarded though. An icecream cone, a pile of garbage, a cog (which evolves into two cogs, then three :o), a chandelier, a pokeball/mushroom, an angry snowflake.

I know they would be scrapping the bottom of the ideas barrell getting up to 650+, but they are just wrong-looking lol.

A lot of those you posted have pretty bad stats, actually, but I know what you mean. They're a lot more blatantly designed.

Yeah reading that back it didn't convey the message I wanted it to, at all lol.

I meant they normally have one or two with good stats that look blatant. Then, this gen has some of the most blatant ones ever, poor stats or not.

I'd go with Jynx (its what I did).  Ice/Psychic is a lethal combination.  She was the MVP of my team.
