I'm in the city with the battle subway/sports stadium... I can't believe some of you have already finished the game.  :lol I usually only play for 20-30 minutes at a time though.

I don't really try to level them up, I just like battling so I go out of my way to explore new areas and battle trainers. It results in a good amount of money, too.

I'm not happy with my team at all... maybe I should revamp it.

I really wanted to just stick with Pokemon I got in the beginning and see how powerful I could make them, but so many of the early pokemon are just complete shit.  :lol
Pignite lvl 24
Roggenrola lvl 24
Pansage lvl 23
Woobat lvl 23
Herdier lvl 23
Blitzle lvl 23

Servine lvl 27
Scolipede lvl 30 (badass on wheels)
Herdier lvl 25
Tympole lvl 25

so what do you think are the odds of the Ice Dragon being the centerpiece if they make a 3 ga,e in this gen? (Pokemon Grey? lol)
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Lol yeah that Excadrill...still managed to beat it in one go but it wiped my team bar Musharna.

My team now, on Route 6:

Boldore lvl 30
Darumaka lvl 31
Musharna lvl 31
Servine lvl 31

Boldore is weak as piss when it comes to special attacks, its getting kind of annoying lol

Flame Body on Chandelure is better.  Turn-by-turn damage AND it decreases their attack.

I found it pretty easy.

What I've hated the most so far is Chargestone cave.

I had my Boldore with Rock Blast and Smack Down, so it wasn't too difficult.

Volt Switch is the most bs move ever though, it doesn't make any sense. I can't wait to get to Chargestone, will probably level Boldore 1000000000 times.

Lol yeah as above. That's what attracted me to it, its not double-y screwed when it comes to Water/Ice/Grass and has no weakness to flying. The electric thing is a bit of a pain in the ass (ie not being resistant), but Boldore does so much damage that it rarely takes more than two hits from anything lol.

During that gym, I managed to iron defense it up enough that I could resist a fair bit of the damage from Volt Switch, I think I only potioned once as a guard against a critical hit.

If it was one level higher (I think Boldore was 26 at that stage), I probably could have one-hitted all those flying turd rats and finished it easy.

My Boldore gets KO'd with just two Volt Switches. I was fuckin around trying to get my lower level pokemon more EXP and I came SO close to beating the gym. Ah well, I know I can do it now atleast... I just wanna spread out the EXP some more.

Haven't you got Exp Share yet? IDK where I got it (forgotten lol), but if you have it on the lead dude and swap him out after a turn, the pokeman with the Exp Share gets 80% of the experience points. Its fake, but damn effective lol.

Haha yeah I do some weird things too, like refusing to nickname and looking at people who do with shifty eyes *puts on flame shield*.

But Exp Share is awesome, I got my Darumaka from level 15 to 24 in about 20 minutes ;D

Yeah, I do love Exp Share, but I kind of like prolonging the game as much as possible. Makes it more enjoyable for me for some reason, I hate beating a game quickly! That's why I tend to avoid exp share until the very end of the game.

Although with Pokemon, there's always plenty to do after you beat the main story of course.
