You'll just have to buy another copy of black or white and use it to stockpile items I guess.  :lol

Also, I just got to Castelia City. Holy poop 3D

I have a flash cart, so I can just dupe a bunch of items if you guys want.

But that takes a lot of fun out of the game.

I make it a point not to cheat in-game.  But once you start breeding and EV training to build the perfect competitive team you kinda get fed up going through the battle tower a bajillion times to afford another life orb.

How did you get multiple master balls then?  :lol Unless you can get more than one in Diamond/Pearl, I haven't fully explored that game.

Transferred them from LeafGreen.  I had 6 I reserved for catching legendaries (so I could easily restart for optimal nature/IV combos).  After doing that a bunch I just said "eff it" and cheated myself a bajillion.

But you only get one Leftovers in BW...
Pretty sure you're only allowed one of each item on WiFi battle and the Subway anywho, so it's no big deal. Was like that in HGSS, at any rate. Can't imagine any other applications where it'd be vital to have two leftovers...es.

I know (or think I know) some items will be available through the Dream World when it opens. They've certainly got artwork for it, anyway. Damp Rock may be among them? Not sure. Might be way off. Probably am. Regardless, I've got an Ice Rock from somewhere. Can't remember where, but the rocks are about.

Good, I guess.  I'll look around a bit.

Anyways, I think I've managed to upgrade my rain dance team from last generation for Gen V.  Looks like this so far:

Thundurus (ability makes rain last longer, Thunder doesn't miss, volt switch lets the swift swim sweepers come in...guys perfect except I have the wrong game to get him!)
Ludicolo
Kabutops
Toxicroak (Eff you Blissey)
Scizor (Midgame rain dancer, plus bullet punch destroys nearly everything)
Celebi (General support, most subject to change)

I've also found myself building a team based around Hydreigon and another based around Galvantula.  I'm really happy that they made a bunch of useful bug types in this game.  It was getting old knowing that the only useful bugs were Heracross and Scizor...

Just checked Serebii... even easier, they seem to reckon the Damp Rock's on route 8! Might be one you have to wait till winter to pick up, but still. Should be cool!

That's a dead cool team. I'm a big fan of both Ludicolo and Scizor, too. Scizor, particularly, turned out to be the king of my team for the last generation. Technician is godly wonderful on him.

And yes! 2011 is the year of the bug. Thank god. Even the early-game bugs are less disposable.

Need some advice: I'm committed to having a psychic in my main team this Gen for the first time in a long time and I'm settling on Munna/Musharna.

a) Is this a good choice?
b) When is it the "right" time to moon stone it up, if anyone knows? I say "right" because I can get the two moves I'm chasing, Psychic and Dream Eater, by TM. Munna is currently lvl 20.
I punch those numbers into my calculator and they make a happy face.

I've always fund a psychic necessary and ironically this is the first Gen that I haven't had one. As far as Munna goes check out this review from Marriland:

https://pokemon.marriland.com/black_white/walkthrough/basicbadge/dreamyard

Tis why I haven't picked one up yet.

Musharna is pretty good until you get near the end of the game.  It may be slow, but its super bulky and has great Special Attack.  Unfortunately, Munna doesn't learn Psychic until level 41, so you can either wait to evolve Munna then or do what I did and evolve him at level 34 when he learns Calm Mind.

And Psychic is a TM, so you could teach it to him pretty much any time

And on that note, I LOVE that TMs last forever in this game.

So did I.

And oh man guys, the Joltik I caught apparently has a 30 Speed IV and a 28 SpA IV.  Fuck yeah I'm breeding this guy.  Think I'll pair him with an Excadrill and Gastrodon at some point as well.
