And they are damn useful.
As HM whores, yeah.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. Right.

I ACTUALLY have the internet now. And I've tested it so it's not a false alarm this time.

Has anyone got anything interesting they'd like to trade me for a Kecleon with Pokerus?

I don't, but I finally fixed my flash cart so I can play the DS pokemon games again.  :D

Still gonna wait for the American release of Black and white before I play it though.

Started a pokemon Yellow runthru.  How I missed this game...

I have three goals before B/W comes out.  1) Complete the pokedex with no glitches except the Mew glitch, 2) completely beat pokemon stadium, and 3) complete my dream team:

Jynx
Persian
Rhydon
Zapdos
Starmie
Gengar

The only ones I've ever used are Gengar and Zapdos.  I'm excited to use these somewhat weird pokemon, especially Jynx and Starmie.

Persian.   :heart

Sounds like a good team!  :tup

I'll be vacationing in florida with the fam next week and my son and I will probably buy actual copies of this one. We're flashcart people but Pokemon games are worth the money.

Nice.
I have all the extra pokes from Ranger Guardian Signs, and the event pokemon for all the extra opening on Black and White. And as Rob can attest, I'm open for trades and such if you've got wi-fi.

Also, can anyone tell me what the scoop is on that gamestop thing? How long does it last? And if I'm using a flash cart can I still do it?  :lol

North American Give away at Game Stop for:
Celebi - ends March 6th--international ends march 20th.
Vacinti give away for Black White, ends April 20th I think.

yes they work on your cart.
As long as you're running the corresponding version.
I've already finished Japanese Black with a great engrish patch, played the Dream World, got my level 100 Arceus but nothing from my Japanese version was transferable to any of my North American versions of Heart Gold or Soul Silver. Bummer. So I'll go through it all over again with a North American Black/White, store bought probably and then I can move some of my big guns into that game.

Cool! What do you do, just go near the perimeter/inside the store and use wireless to get it? Or do you actually have to go to someone that works there so they can enable it?

I kinda want it, but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle to go.

Exactly what you said:
you just walk near the store...stand outside etc etc..and go receive gift from wi-fi, but not nintendo wi-fi I think.

With the Toys r Us pikachu we didn't need to even go in the store.

Tomorrow it is, I believe.

Going to get mine at midday. Very excited. Although my quest to finish Pokemon Diamond before I get Pokemon White is not happening. Still at four badges, and I've got a lot of work to do this evening. Not gonna finish the game in one night. It was a good stab, though.

I WANT MY OSHAWOTT.

(Also, getting a bit confused about the two simultaneous Pokemon threads. Have been for a while - I thought "v. Black and White" was included to give the second thread a name. Is it actually meant to be a separate thread for Black and White? Think we've just got two conversations going on at once, essentially - would a mod be able to merge them? And then create a new one if the resultant thread is enormous. Which it probably is.)

You can also get one on Platinum.  So I now have two legit Celebis, one of which is already EV trained and battle-ready.  The other one hasn't given me a good nature or IVs yet.

I'm about to face them with Lv. 60...

Be careful with the lvl 66 Garchomp, that shit rapes.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

Medicham (with addition of Rock Slide) and Torterra (with Sunny Day + Solarbeem) took care of the first two trainers single handedly.

Be careful with the lvl 66 Garchomp, that shit rapes.

When your Gyarados knows Avalanche, and Garchomp strikes first, he becomes a one move finish.

I can't decide if I want to play male or female.

On one hand, I'm a guy, so there's that.

On the other, the female character looks a lot cooler and the male character is painfully generic.

On yet another hand, I'm told the female character does not have a backpack but instead has a series of purses, and that would make me break my DS in half.

...my name is Araragi.

Really?
Did you go in and ask if they were running it?
They have to have a DS going in store broadcasting the give away. If teenager A. behind the counter didn't turn it on...then that might have been your problem. They dont' care if you're running a flash cart.

Ah ok. No, I didn't go in and ask, I just tried in the parking lot but it wasn't working.

I might go back before the event is over and try again... I'm just lazy and don't feel like going in the store.  :lol
