Nazi Germany landed eight saboteurs in America on a secret mission to destroy targets across the U.S., a documentary has revealed.U-boats dropped the men off the beaches of Long Island and Florida at the height of the Second World War.The first group of four men - carrying armfuls of weapons, explosives and primers - came ashore near Manhattan on June 13, 1942.Four days later, another four men landed from another U-boat off Ponte Verda, Beach in Florida. They were supposed to stage attacks on economic targets such as New York's Penn Station, hydroelectric plants at Niagara Falls and aluminium factories in Illinois and Tennessee.Details of the landings are revealed in a German documentary - Attack on America - Hitler's 9/11 - being aired tomorrow on the ninth anniversary of the Twin Towers attacks.
Our worst export product, for sure. Oompha music.rumborak
I wasn't aware of it. It's no surprise, I just hadn't ever thought about it.
That's not an invasion, it's fairly common knowledge, and did we really need another thread trying to convince us Germany was moments away from conquering the Americas?

Well, it's clearly a follow-up on his point a few weeks ago that the US was seriously endangered by Nazi Germany, right?rumborak

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.
Interesting, didn't realise this happened. Though a few guys isn't really an invasion.
ZGF did his homework.
Now that Obama has closed Gitmo, when will he turn his attention to the abuses and torturing of the onions that are used to make the angry whopper?

All it would have taken for Germany to win the war was to throw that sand in the bearings ruining the power plant and keeping USA from saving the allies.

This proves once and for all that sand is, in fact, a weapon of mass destruction. Anyone trying to argue that there were no WMD's in Iraq needs to have their head examined. THE ENTIRE COUNTRY IS ONE BIG GIANT WMD!
Wait, the Germans did invade us! Proof:
