Not necessarily.  And keep something else in mind.  The person who maintains those pages has likely had his life turned upside down and isn't getting clear direction at the moment because the person he formerly took all his direction from (Mike) and his employer (DT) are now two completely different people/entities.  Beginning to see where matters might be a bit more comlicated than they might appear at first glance?

Oh I'm completely aware of all of these factors, and all the other ones we don't know of, but personally I'd think that today of all days MP would be being very selective of what was being said under his name.

Well if I was Mike and some guy linked that in my Twitter, I would throw him off a bridge and take it down asap.  

If he put it there himself though, it's maybe not the most tactful move he could make but I wouldn't read too much into it yet.  If there is actually more going on than we think then we will hear about it soon enough.

^ Portnoy's not exactly known for his tact.  Everything else aside, the dude's got kind of a polarizing personality.  To be honest, I'm surprised 10+ years passed without it generating any notable drama until now.

Ya seriously, I never wanted to really say it but I found him to be kind of a dick.  Beyond the control freak personality he was still douchey and I know of a few interviews I saw of other members where their frustration really came through.

Absolutely this. Of course he'll be a bit hurt by what happened, as the rest of the guys will. And MP is very public and open with his feelings, as he has always been. That doesn't mean he's angry or that there's necessarily any or much more to it than we know about.

To be honest, I'm surprised at how personally some people seem to be taking this. I mean, yeah they're a great band; I've been a fan of theirs since I was practically 4 or so, I've "known" them almost my entire life so hearing about the breakup was a shock, even though I knew it'd happen eventually. But crying about it? Having your day ruined over this? I don't know..... I can't grasp having that much of a personal investment into someone else's band.

It's not like anyone's dead. There wasn't any huge falling out, as far as we know. It was a grown adult decided he needed a break, three other grown adults deciding they wanted to keep their momentum going, and all four mutually deciding that it'd be best if they split. That's pretty much the absolute best way this could have possibly ended, the ONLY thing hinting at any bad blood between them being a link that's completely up for interpretation in what it's supposed to "mean." Where's the controversy coming from?
