 Amazon said the blu ray wasn't being released until May, and still says that. However, the DVD on there says April 5.

I wonder if I order the blu ray from them if I will get it now, or if they'll make me wait til May?

Cancel and Best Buy now!!

How much is the blu-ray at best buy?

I might wait a bit anyways until i get my tax return... probably shouldn't be spending money when I don't have much.  :lol

Relax dude, I'm just joking!  Hence the smiley!  I assumed when you said you were in Lexington that you were with the band (don't actually know if they're in Lexington right now though), so naturally, I made a joke like "oh man, Tempus is pulling the 'I know Rush' card again on a forum with a bunch of prog geeks!"   :D

Re-sent the PM tempus, let me know if you don't get it.

Nick I can't believe you chose not to go to TWO shows

Had they mixed up the set things would have been different, but up until the Cleveland announcement I was choosing to go to no shows. Not an easy decision to make, but having seen them 3 times already it wasn't appealing financially.

I've had to skip out on this leg as well. If they changed up a couple songs, I would have probably gone, but as it is I need to save up money, and since I saw two shows last leg there was no real need to travel all the way to NYC to see the same show for the third time.

ITT Rush ticket sales are affected by the recession and not changing up the set list at least a little bit.

I was almost the same way...it was the same set I saw last year. But hey, it was Spring Break, tickets were already bought and I hadn't seen my best friend since the last show.

I don't see a lot of concerts, but I've seen Rush more than any other band.  Any Rush show is a good show, so if it's not a big deal, it makes sense to go, plus you got to see your friend and see Rush together.  It's the shared experience that makes it.

So true. He was the one that took me to my first concert (Gigantour with DT and Megadeth). Ever since, I've missed maybe 3 concerts without him, and have gone to about 30 in my lifetime.

Not appealing financially, yet I go (to MSG) anyway. It would have been cheaper if I drove to Cleveland. I'm done thinking about that one.

I've already started a fund for the Clockwork Angels Tour.

The Blu Ray 5.1 did not disappoint.  I loved that fact the the rear speakers were well used.  There was an ambiance to the music surrounding my ears.  Each speaker had all the instruments but say when the keyboards or the triangle came in it flowed out of a certain speaker.  I need to listen to it again to soak it all in.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience.  Our Best Buy had four of five copies on Blu-ray, and another two or three on DVD-A.  I went with Blu-ray.  I'm such a geek that I sat in the car and took some pictures.

Deluxe Edition, baby!

Opened partway:

Opened all the way.  You can see the booklet tucked behind the middle panel:

My wife and daughter will be gone most of the weekend.  I'll be joining them Saturday, but that still leaves me Friday evening to crank this bad boy.  I can't wait!

Pretty sure they mean the album. It was released in a "MVI" format or something, which had a 5.1 mix on it. Comes in a little box. It's pretty awesome

Wow, I didn't know they released it in 5.1.  I still do most of my music shopping in stores, not online, and never saw anything other than a regular CD version.
