Okay, will do when I get home.
So, semi-on-topic, I've been going back and listening to Rush's previous 6 albums (from Presto to Snakes & Arrows) and I've (re-)gained new-found appreciation for many of the songs and albums. It's also been a long while since I've really LISTENED to Rush, and taken the time to enjoy them. It's weird, like visiting a long lost friend you knew a decade ago, and are coming to familiarize yourself with them once more. I remember choruses, lyrics, drum fills...lots of little things that make me realize that Rush is deep within me, and I will live with that for the rest of my life. And I'm quite happy with that fact.

Similar to this i've been going back over TFE, VT, S&A for the Rush songs thread and I still don't get any joy from them. I know Rush have always written the music and the lyrics seperately but those albums is where it sounded like it.
I'm enjoying CA at the moment. It's no great leap in approach from the previous couple but the vocal melodies are better and there seems to be more variety.
I was hoping the muddiness was just the mp3 I've been listening to so it's worrying that the album is not sonically awesome. How come one of the greatest bands ever has so many poorly produced/mixed albums?
