Ambulance was and is still my favorite. I usually don't care for hearing music live if I'm not already familiar with it, but when they played Ambulance last fall it was one of the highlights of the show. It's so beautiful and amazing and.... :heart

So, got both The Valley and Combinations, haven't spinned any of them yet.
Not really sure which one would be best after only knowing Room Noises. :P

The Valley is probably the better album, but they're both very good.

I think Combinations is better than some of you give it credit for. I'd agree That the Valley is better but I can certainly understand someone liking Combinations more.

My girlfriend just sent me this album. I'm loving it! It's cool, too, because I'm usually the one buying all the music. Nice to see her pulling her weight, and buying something good to boot!

The Valley is fantastic.
Played it two times, and it's probably my favorite album (this far) of 2011.

Holy shit the valley is addictive. Basically, this is how it's gone:

1st listen (at the gym): this is nice.
2nd listen (on the way back): man, some of these songs are really good.
3rd listen (laying on my bed super tired): best album I've heard from this year so far maybe?
4th listen (right now): every single one of these songs is my new favorite song!!!

This all happened today, btw.

So I just joined my campus radio station, and the second-in-command is this girl who looks EXACTLY like Sherri Dupree. I would post a pic from her Facebook, but the concept of some random guy she's spoken to once posting her pic on a message board seems creepy, so I'll refrain from doing so. Just take my word for it.

The Valley should get even more cred here then it is already getting, already beating Room Noises for me.
Watch it Die is probably my favorite, but this album is full with fantastic songs.  :hat

Told you so.

When I was introduced to her, I stopped dead in my tracks for a few seconds and didn't say anything. I'm sure that didn't come across as creepy at all.

I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

I hate feeling like the bandwagon jumper, but I bought The Valley off of iTunes in my quest for new music, and it's a really good album. :) I'm not 8============================D over it yet, but it's very enjoyable.

Purchasing and enjoying The Valley does not make you a "bandwagon jumper." Quite the contrary. It means you know what the fuck is up.

I'll probably dig through the rest of their discography after I've let The Valley sink in, along with the ocean of other new music I've downloaded recently  :o
