For anyone who knows Chino's dumba...
« on: September 02, 2010, 05:17:08 PM »
Hey guys, I'm a lurker here and was actually introduced to Dream Theater by Chino. Chino is one of my best friends and was my room mate for a year and a half at our University.

As those of you that know Chino from his posts, know that Chino likes a good night of boozin. We've had many great, ridiculous nights together. This one however, was not so smooth for our brave bar hopping adventurer.

I'd like to now direct you to this incredible news article:   https://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs430.snc4/47367_438565781672_503811672_5473511_1741470_n.jpg

so, the moral of the story folks, is to not get hammed and fall asleep while sitting on a balcony railing, let alone on the 5th floor.

I've seen him everyday in the Hospital so far, hes doing well and one of the first things he said was "Go tell DTF my story!" So, alas here you are!  His whole body pretty much hurts, as it should, but hes in good spirits and should make a solid recovery.

Jesus. Glad he is alright. It's a good thing he can laugh about it now, but he really shouldn't considering the dangerous position he put himself in.

And I'm glad it's my week to face him in our fantasy baseball league.

I'm glad he's ok, but I don't think there is anything funny about it.  I'm sure he'll learn more from it than simply "Don't drink and hang out on balconies".

Rest assured, hes been definitely doing some hard thinking and I can tell hes learned himself a nice lesson. We can laugh because of how awful this could have been for him, and we're all simply relieved that it wasn't.

Nah, since he survived it's funny.  When I do something incredibly stupid, I like to be able to laugh it off.  If it were me, I'd certainly make fun of myself, and I'd go along with others who wished to as well.

And then there's this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k2L7oNMDe0

Glad he's alright.

Glad he's okay. A friend of mine got drunk and fell from the second level of a parking garage one night. He sustained some brain damage and was in a coma for some time. Thankfully he's made a full recovery, but things were looking pretty bad for a while.

Guess he won't be seeing Avatar again any time soon.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I've seen him everyday in the Hospital so far, hes doing well and one of the first things he said was

"Go tell DTF my story, tell them about me......I fell off the BAL CON EEEEEEeeeeeeEEEYYYYa"

(it works better if you sing it-trust me)
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

The only drunk story I have to tell that I can show for is when I thought it'd be a good idea to put cheap firecrackers/sparklers into my show... while I was wearing it. I have a stripe of bare rubber down the center of the toe part of my show from the sparkler now.

My best drunk story involves me getting hospitalized and expelled from school. Not too proud of that one. The one I am proud of however, is me waking up in a house in Morgan Hill, a city that's a half hour away from San Jose. :hat

You know what i find intersting.  If someone had seen this article randomly on the net and posted it here, everyone would be like ahahha what a dumbass.  But since we know him its all  :metal.  ...weird lol

I hope he cuts back on the excessive drinking it'd be a shame to lose someone to something like that.
If anyone in this thread judge him; heyy James WTF? about you in Awake In Japan? Then I will say; WTF about you silly?
