So I mentioned a while back when Sonata released his Cave Hunting EP that I had started making some ambient music several years ago, and then dropped it. Well, I was inspired to pick up the pieces, and now have this to show for it. Most of it is brand new, but there are bits that are up to four years old.

Anyways, the name of the project thing is Ataecina, and this EP is called Nautilus. I also drew the cover art (there's a hi-res version in the zip file):

 :metal Thanks! Yeah, everything was sampled either by me or from an online source, the only exception being the acoustic guitar in tracks 1, 3, and 4, and the vocals in 4 and 5.

If you want your own site, I'd recommend https://bandcamp.com/ . It allows you really set up a great looking page where people can listen and download your music easily.  :tup

Yeah, I was looking at that yesterday. I'd do it right now, but I have to re-render everything into lossless WAV files before I can upload it.

Broken Promise has this incredible Nine Inch Nails vibe that I loved. I could see you scoring a movie one day with this type of stuff (at least the type of stuff I'd wanna film).

Not a big ambient/noise music fan, but I liked this EP. So Long Sailboat was awesome, and Broken Promise is probably my favorite track on here. Keep it up.  :tup

The only suggestion I can think of is to try and experiment with more sounds on your next album.

So a minor update: I've been working on material for a second release. Most of my music time lately has been spent experimenting with various synthesis techniques and such, and so far it's been going quite well; there's a lot more possibilities opened up from up it that weren't really available with my previous setup. Musically things are going in all directions, I'm quite excited.

Anyways, expect more muzaks soon.
