So it was one of the creepier scenes of the pilot, but who the heck takes the time to write "God Forgive Us" really big in blood on their wall? You would think a hand written note would've sufficed.
It reminds me of the scene from 28 Days Later when the main character enters the church and sees the message scrawled way high up on the wall, "The end is extremely fucking nigh." Okay, but why take the time to bust out the giant ladder and let everyone know? That's a little narcissistic.
But I guess that's the whole point. That dude killed his family and himself and suicide is supposed to be a selfish act. So, yeah, writing a message in blood on the wall I guess would be the act of a desperate mind unable to think beyond itself.
Oh, yeah, and it was a fantastic show. I just caught it tonight. Thank God for DVR.
