^Now THAT is a solid package. Love all three bands. I already saw Meshuggah this year, but it looks like I'll have to go again!

Sweet. I'd love to see Meshuggah and Animals as Leaders. Checking out Intronaut now.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?
LOOK AT THIS AWESOME SHIT AHHHHHH

How do Meshuggah sound at a gig ?

With constant double bass and two 8-string guitars - i can't imagine there being much clarity.

They are with out a doubt one of the tightest extreme metal bands you can find these days and probably plays as clare as they possible can in a good day. Basically because they gate everything live to absurdum to take away all the unessacary "hits" or "strikes" they do with their instruments to make it sound as clean as possible. That is atleast what i've heard them do.

I suppose it really depends on the venue.
I saw them at The Palladium in MA (which is known for having pretty shitty acoustics) and yeah, it sounded pretty bad.

I saw them at the Sound Academy in Toronto, which is famous for having bad sound almost all the time. Somehow Meshuggah was the best band I've ever heard there. Way more clarity than you'd imagine.

I saw them at the House of Blues in LA. The acoustics were just fine there.

I've always imagined Meshuggah as being the type of music Klingons would make.

That is the most accurate description of Meshuggah I have ever read.

I never thought I'd see anyone but Tomas Haake drum the Meshuggah stuff thát good.

Scion does this all the time.

It's a new 5 track EP from Meshuggah. bands like Corrosion of Conformity, Immolation, Arsis, Revocation, etc have done a free 5 track EP for Scion in recent times. Now it's time for Meshuggah.

Ahh ok so it's not 5 "new" songs? Only re-releasing some songs as a EP?
