Awesome heavy as sin song, but holy fuck who put the compressor on that thing?!? Pumping everywhere

Edit: sorry, it was the crappy player. Why would it automatically push it like that instead of putting out normal volumes?

Having had this song on repeat all day I can say that I like it even more, it is heavy, dark and groovy as hell. This is certainly a grower.

This may be the album that tips me into Meshuggah land. I've appreciated them for a few years, but never really got INTO them.

But I really like this.

Absolutely adored the new song. I hope the new album's more of Catch 33 than obZen. FYI, the new song's the "Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion".

The new song is very good, but I think BTBWSGIT is better.

Just listened to the 2 songs.  I'm lookin forward to the new album.  :metal

Also, I was listening to Alive on Spotify the other day and I noticed just how ground breakingly heavy the middle section of Lethargica is live.  At around 3:09.

True. I like the Nothing/Catch 33 vibe in Break Those Bones more.

I´m going through a Meshuggah period as u always do before a release. And i rediscovered This Spiteful Snake from Obzen, the part between 1:29 - 2:14 is amazing but when it comes to 2:13!!! Man that riff is out of this world....it´s so crushingly mental!  :metal

That's not the only place it is.   ;)

And it kicks more ass than should be legally possible. Can't wait for Koloss to drop so I can get my copy of it.  :metal

Like it so far, but I've got to say, the first track; I Am Colossus is quite underwhelming.
