I think I noticed awhile ago that, after the release of Chaos In Motion, that MP may slowly be giving us newer/better versions of the songs presented on OIALT on subsequent official live releases-
"A Change Of Seasons" is featured in full on LSFNY
"Puppies On Acid" is just the opening of "The Mirror", which is also on LFSNY (with the end of "Lie" tacked on to boot)
"Just Let Me Breathe" is also on LSFNY
"Voices" is featured on LSFNY as part of the entire AMBI suite
"Take The Time", "Lines In The Sand" and "Scarred" all feature on CIM
"Trial Of Tears" and "Hollow Years" were on LAB (in much better versions, IMO)
And finally, "Pull Me Under", "Metropolis" and "Learning To Live" all have FULL versions on LAB, LSFNY/SCORE and LSFNY respectively.
"Ytse Jam", "Take Away My Pain", "Caught In A Web", "Lie" and "Peruvian Skies" are the only songs not to be featured on a later live release, not counting the mash-up of "Caught In A Web" and "New Millennium".
It just seems odd that, for a band that tries to vary their set list for live recordings, they are (by design or coincidence) slowly giving us songs that were already featured on OIALT. One thing I *do* like about this live album is the solo spots because we don't get a keyboard/guitar/drum solo spots one every album (it's usually just keyboard), so that always makes this one a bit unique. Also, all the little covers they throw in the songs gives it a bit of uniqueness that isn't on other live releases.
