Wolf, trust me it will be well worth the wait.  Like I said before - better than SI.

A friend of mine who listened to the album for review purposes also said it is better than SI, so i am very excited to hear the album.

We know JP is, and JLB has hinted at it a few times, or at least DTF took those as hints :biggrin: (I remember something-or-other hinties on Twitter somewhere two years ago, when DTF stalked the locations of the studio to find out who the new drummer is - I retroactively read that thread and it's brilliant :lol).

Then again, seeing how they answered a question that came from DTF.org's Twitter account in the recent Q&A's, they are probably all aware of it now. It's just that, if they wanted to register, they'd do it by now. :-X

Edit: Listened to them all. I am now twice as excited for every single song than I was before. It makes such a difference to better understand the arrangements, and to hear the mix clearer.

Exactly.  JP is very aware.  He even has an official DTF.org shirt. 



Plus, others close to JP read the board somewhat regularly.  I know James and Jordan are aware of the forum, but I don't know that they've ever read it.  I have mentioned it to Mike Mangini, but I am not sure whether he knows anything specific about the forum or how it is different than the one on DT.net.  Not sure about JM.  I think the only things I have ever said to him are:  "Would...would you please sign this?" and "Yes, sir. [multiple times, because that's what you say when John Myung speaks]"

First: Fuck yew, U.S. iTunes!! Had to use the AU store cause the US doesn't even have it in the system...

Second: HELL YES. This sounds amazing; along with the release of the new DT album, it's getting me excited about the group again to hear Labrie like this. I also really love the screams this time around, they mesh well and sound a lot better, no longer...'cheesy', but brutal. Great stuff, can't wait. :metal :yarr

P.S. I've listened to the entire album's samples about three times now, I really love this. Also, it's awesome that the members are active here.

 :tup :tup Great reviews, haven't checked out your edited version yet, Nick, but I certainly will later. I am so pumped for this album. First Labrie release in a very long time that I'm even anticipating at all, let alone this much. Loving everything about it, especially the stark contrast between the screams and harmonies that Mason talks about; I really love that aspect about this album thus far. Rarararar!

Good review Mason, but;

Peter Wichers’ production is a large reason why this album sounds so good. While LaBrie, Guillory, and Sfogli have been together for all three James LaBrie albums, Wichers made Static Impulse sound like a Wichers album, which is a large reason why some of the fan base felt alienated.
