That new song is awesome as fuck.

Find it odd there was very little promo for it though...

Does anyone know when / where / if you can buy it in the UK? It only seemed to be on US iTunes so I just had to download it wherever I could find it, but the preview I can hear on US iTunes sounds clearer than it.

Wasn't feeling the new song the first four minutes but things get pretty awesome starting at 3:55.
"Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you." ~ Tyrion Lannister

So how's everyone been liking the new song? It's really good, imo, a good mixture of all their styles. If their next album is like this, with more longer tracks, I'll be sold.

Nightmare owned, too, but I feel like the strongest songs were the longer ones (save for Tonight the World Dies, my favorite from the album).

Still haven't listened to it, can you provide a YouTube link?

An alright song, seems like it could've been in their self-titled or Nightmare.

A7X are asking the fans to vote on which songs should be played on the second leg of their tour that's coming up, and every song from all 5 albums is up for grabs.

Everyone seriously needs to vote for Sidewinder. That song would be absolutely killer live.

Yeah it seems like everyone's voting for all the songs they already play, which is dumb. I love most of those songs, but they have some longer, more complex songs I'd love to see performed live, like Strength of the World, M.I.A., Sidewinder, The Wicked End, I Won't See You Tonight pt. 1, and so on.

I'd like for them to play their new song, Not Ready to Die, live, too.

I guess it's mostly because they've played that fairly often on tours since the S/T was released.

I saw them live last week and they played both ALPOH and Save Me. My two favorite song in the same concert, fuck yeah :metal
Jesus Christ himself* comes down amidst a choir of 2 billion angels singing Handel's Hallelujah chorus. As KrotchRaut shred randomly on guitars made of dragon bones using picks made from God's kidney stones, Jesus heals a blind woman who promptly gives birth onstage to a creation of pure light.

*Yes, Jesus Christ himself. Nothing less will do.

after watching videos of save me live, they need a 3rd guitar player. it sounds terrible when they drop the backing in the beginning to do the signature duels.

There's so much epic riffage going on in that album it's ridiculous. It makes me smile every time I listen to it.

Strength of the World was the first Avenged Sevenfold song I ever heard, so it has a special place in my heart. I love almost all their stuff. I love I Won't See You Tonight pt. 1, Chapter Four, Warmness on the Soul, etc. I have 79 of their songs marked as favorites on my ipod. I like the new stuff too. It's just different, not quite like the same band.

Yeah they don't repeat themselves for the most part, which I love. I hope the next record is something fresh, yet while combining all the work they've done in the past.

And I'd like to see more songs in the style of Save Me, aaauggh.

If A7X released an album of songs on the level IWSYTpt1, Sidewinder, Strength of the World, Save Me, M.I.A., etc, I'd be quite a happy man.
