Joe and I in the same squad is basically the virtual equivalent of us plowing a rape van through an elementary school playground at recess.

Now all we have to do is find this "Dimitrius" guy.  As it's not the guy who posted above me...

So much cooler than that piece of shit real name you must have.

Unless it was Xavier, of course.  Or maybe Orlando.

Wat

The album is quite good. God Hates Us is fucking good.
Jesus Christ himself* comes down amidst a choir of 2 billion angels singing Handel's Hallelujah chorus. As KrotchRaut shred randomly on guitars made of dragon bones using picks made from God's kidney stones, Jesus heals a blind woman who promptly gives birth onstage to a creation of pure light.

*Yes, Jesus Christ himself. Nothing less will do.

I just finished watching the All Excess documentary on Youtube. It was really cool, but at the same time was really sad to watch. It's made very clear both by the footage and the interviews with the band members how important The Rev was to them. It sucks seeing all of them joking around and having fun together, and knowing that it will never be the same for them as a band and as a family.
Gadough isn't Hitler. He's much, much worse.

Get the "making of" film of the S/T if you want somewhat of a sequel to All Excess.

Did A7X ever use blast beats before? Just heard the one in Natural Born Killer.

Yeah, there's one just before the verse riff kicks in.

Though I know some people will start arguing that that's not a blast beat.

Hell the drumming around 9:20 of This Dying Soul is a blast beat to me. Anyway, it just made me wonder if it was Mike's input or if one of the guys asked him to do it. I doubt the Rev would write it since he's never done it before, although it's not impossible.

Yeah, it's nothing amazing but it definitely doesn't suck, I really like the middle section. I think if they stuck it between Victim and Tonight The World Dies the album would flow better (alternatively, they could have just put Natural Born Killer there).

Actually I put it right between Tonight The World Dies and Fiction for my iPod. Works quite well.

"Fiction" is easily my favorite song off this album as of right now, although "Victim", "Save Me" and the first few tracks are also amazing. This album is really, really good, and easily the most heartfelt album the band has released (for obvious reasons).

So, having not listened to any A7X before, I thought I'd see if any of their stuff was up on Spotify. The new album isn't there yet, but the title track is so I had a listen, really liked it. :tup

Listening through their self-titled at the moment, it's pretty good stuff. Reminds me of a cross between Soil and Monster Magnet's later stuff.
