I was there, last night. It's too bad they didn't play a full maiden song, that'd be cool. But they kinda started..

This tour got a great shout out on the Eddie Trunk show the other night. Apperently most of the big summer tours are playing to small crowds or being out right cancelled. Trunk was saying that this tour is enjoying so much success (70,000) in Quebec is a testament to Maiden..and Dream Theaters loyal fans showing up no matter what the set/list is going to be.

MP plays little bit The Prisoner and Run To The Hills (I'm not sure that one), but JLB looks like he didn't even notice it. Weird...

I seriously didn't think of it in that way :P But if you guys say so... They were about to play something, but I think a staff member from the venue said they couldn't go over their 50 minutes. At least that's what I heard

If they were to jam together like DT/Queensryche did back in the day, that could have been awesome. But I agree that DT devoting any part of a 50 minute opening set to cover a song by the headling act (or anyone, for that matter) would have been really lame.
