Marillion - your assistance and opinions required please
« on: October 28, 2010, 01:25:30 AM »
Hi

Marillion.............saw them several times in the UK between 1984 and 1994, including both indoor and outdoor shows.........had all their albums up to and including "Brave"........but then somehow I completely lost track..............it wasn't that I'd taken a dislike to them....I just started listening to other bands...........

So.........people of the DT forum..........I ask your assistance.............please help me get back on track with Marillion..........

Any recommendations of any of their albums since "Brave" ?

Your help, assistance, thoughts and opinions are, as always, most valued.

Best regards
Andrew

Marbles.  :hefdaddy
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

Marbles and Afraid Of Sunlight. Then This Strange Engine and Anoraknophobia.

This. Those are probably my top choices of album SINCE Brave.

But some of you guys didn't specify... make sure you get the TWO-DISC VERSION of Marbles. Otherwise, you will miss out on the epic 17-minute "Ocean Cloud", and that would be a crime punishable by Marillion-fan law.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting there's a 1-disc version of Marbles.  Yeah, get the 2-disc version.  Worth every cent.
