I still don't understand the love for Heartattack in a Layby, though. It seems really boring to me compared to the rest of the album. Granted, this is my favorite album of all time so it's still a very interesting song. Gravity Eyelids is awesome though.

Heartattack in a Layby is pretty amazing because... it just is!
The weaker songs on the album would be The Sound of Muzak, Wedding Nails, Collapse the Light into Earth and Blackest Eyes.

It just shows many different sides of the band, and all of them really well. I think The Incident and Fear of a Blank Planet definitely win, but I can see why it would be someone's #1.

I found it uninteresting on the beginning to. And then I entered a phase, it was January with snow, gray and cold outside, when I had the song stuck in my head for like two weeks, and since then I absolutely love it. It's one of the most minimalistic songs in terms of instruments PT has ever written, but that's what makes it incredible - every sound is extremely important. And the acoustic guitar after the chorus (?) is so full of sadness that only Don't Hate Me is stronger in this regard.

The Sound of Muzak - obvious. The others are good songs, Prodigal is fairly weak.

I actually agree with this, although the song would be nothing without Gavin's drumming.

Yeah, most PT fans adore "Heartattack in a Layby" (it is in my top 10), and "Gravity Eyelids" is pretty well-liked, too. Really, almost every song on IA is great, except for "Wedding Nails" and "Strip the Soul," both of which are merely good.

Nope. "Collapse..." was top 5 when I did my PT top 50 last fall, and "Lips of Ashes" was pretty high, too. I feel the latter is criminally underrated. "Lips of Ashes" in 5.1 is just stupid good.

The rest is really good, but the b-sides during these sessions (drown with me, chloroform and futile) would beat most of the album.

Lips of Ashes is great. Collapse the Light Into Earth is very good and far better than the Pop Three of the album.

Anything think the next live DVD will be called Time Flies? The last two were titled after their respective album's longest track (Arriving Somehere and Anesthetize). I think the title works well for a DVD, especially if they do something that compiles tracks from different shows, a la DT's Chaos In Motion, except hopefully with better quality.
