I have to say, I was a casual/moderate fan of PT before I heard the Incident.  I feel like I understand all the fanboyism around here now.  What an incredible album, the only exception being the chorus of Drawing the Line, which annoys the hell out of me, though that's just one blemish on an otherwise masterful work.

My dad rented a minivan to drive my mom, my wife, and I to NC for my brother's wedding, and I listened to The Incident all the way through while staring at landscape moving by in the back of the van.  Made for an awesome experience :tup

This thread needed to be titles "Porcupine Tree Thread v. John Piechota" for obvious reasons that only Lat, faemir, and I understand.

It starts here, but mostly took place on facebook: https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=639.msg487793#msg487793

A Coheed fan basically said PT was generic and called us sheep. :D

He also said his opinion was the only relavent one because he had a degree from Berkeley (note: he spelled it wrong)

Very lol worthy

Cool band, bro.

Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.
